Portrait sessions in the Don Bosco Ashalayam

I felt very welcomed in the Don Bosco Ashalayam, where I spent two weeks during my arrival time in India and before my journey back home, too. Here i am exchanging with some very artistical, well educated young inhabitants.

Goodbye' Varanasi

The cook of the residency who regales us every day painted my feet!
I say goodbye' to a very special time in my life, that is rich in experiences and pleasure.
Thank You to all the supporters and advisors who made this dream possible for me.

My frames are being transported by Grillon, whom I met some days ago. He travels from Varanasi to Switzerland every year by jeep in march and back in october. Here he founded a project to teach the boys of the jail in Ramnagar how to repair bicycles and rikshaws. In June i will give some color to his cabin up in the swiss Alps in turn.

This is the vehicle I am allowed to use from the Kriti residency and the picture was taken by Katrin Jud a friend who is working with me on a huge painting of Mata Ganga Dji!

Back in Banaras

there isn't so much time left and I wish to soak in as much as possible of the simple life impressions out in the streets and villages.
