These kinds of elder interieurs drive me crazy, too!

it's really nice to do a second session with somebody. The face and the taste of somebody gets much more familiar and so it's more relaxing to paint.

diese zwei allerliebsten maroniverkäufer durfte ich während der letzten vier Tage mit Ihrem Stand portraitieren!

der eine tanzt und pfeift, der andere nimmt das Bild mit Heim!


und in der wärmenden Bar "Ernst" nebenan kennen sich auch ein paar, die bereit sind, sich für 10 Minuten in Pose zu legen und das Image zu pflegen und einander wiedermal mit ganz neuen Augen zu sehen!

What a charming lady! Here we are in the painting process of a two hours session. Time flyes though!


The new coffe in my neigbourhood in Bern has such a tastefull decoration and soo good cakes... I had to find some of the responsible ones, because its a little salvation to have such a place near you. So this is the owner and bartender who accepted to be portraied yesterday while his wife helped to take over for an hour.

That's the way I am travelling around! I am so happy to experience this dreamwork,
looking into the always amazing eyes of a person, into a moment in life of anybody,
painting in a direct fast flowing exchange what runs into my eyes to my pencil!

Gut geschlafen?

After getting lost in Saarbrücken at 4:00am we landed on this quite parking space from Rettenberger and slept in peace till eastermorning in the bearsting "Hiundhei"
