The gallery owners had the idea of inviting all the artists who didn't make it to the christmas exhibition of the "cantonale berne jura" to have an alternative exhibition place just next to one of the participating museums - the centre pasquart in Biel. They painted this suiting entrance and made a very good job in finding a good match, hanging all kinds of paintings in different stiles:

Just finished this abstract painting last week - it comes out of an drawing experiment in common with Pen:
We had a working session this year in July, preparing for a chain of little video sketches! (To be realized, as soon as Pen returns from her artist residency in Colorado.)

Back in Grillon's Cabin - Welcome anytime!
Grillon brought back these arabic words while driving through Iran and Pakistan to reach India.
Most colours withstood the winter, except the "Allahu Akbar" painting with casein tempera on cement. So i gave it a new coating of egg tempera. Let's see if it survives till next summer.

Everybody is invited to participate in the Poya* painting. It's eihter possible to add an animal painted by yourself (with or without help) or giving me the order to paint it. The alpaca named Shakespeare is still missing. It will hopefully be finished next year.
*Poya: french for cows, goats and other farm animals that climb up to the alps in a row to remain during the summertime and eat good herbs.
